LiDCO are a global organization with supply chain and manufacturing resources strategically positioned to meet the needs of our customers all over the world.
Although the threat of COVID-19 has led to many workplace restrictions and travel disruptions we have taken steps to ensure we experience minimal product supply disruption. We remain committed to providing uninterrupted product availability and will keep in frequent communication with our healthcare partners to provide regular updates.
We are regularly reviewing our business continuity plans ensuring effective risk management for manufacturing and finished good supply. Rest assured we are making every effort to maintain product supply and meet customer needs during this challenging and rapidly changing situation.
LiDCO are passionate about the safety of our employees, customers and communities in all our supply chain decisions and we prioritize the wellbeing of our people and partners.
As the situation unfolds, we are aware many facilities are in an unprecedented ‘surge’ situation which requires the conversion of non-ICU rooms to help treat the increasing number critically ill patients. In support of these efforts, LiDCO have modified our traditional agreement structure to support easy and rapid deployment of our hemodynamic monitoring technology in these ‘surge’ rooms. We have developed short, medium- and long-term solutions which allow your facilities the opportunity to determine which option best suits your needs.

To prioritize the well-being and personal safety of all our employees, customers and communities, LiDCO are providing guidance for our field-based sales and clinical education employees. In these challenging times it is more important than ever to meet our customers needs and expectations wherever they are. This may mean finding flexible and creative ways to support you, your teams and the patients you treat.
At this time, non-critical customer sales interactions (product demonstrations, business discussions, contract reviews, etc.) will be managed by telephone or virtually if appropriate.
With permission from the institution field-based sales employees can conduct acceptable activities such as new product implementation and product assembly.
The LiDCO Clinical Education teams will continue to provide support remotely with telephone calls and virtual training and in-servicing sessions. For further information see the section below. Non-urgent case coverage will be put on hold at this time.
LiDCO encourage all field-based personnel to be extra sensitive to the needs, requests and policies established by partner healthcare institutions and their employees. We are reminding our field-based employees to be cognisant of the extra levels of stress and strain on our customers at this time and to do their very best meet their needs so patient care can be delivered effectively.
Finally, all LiDCO employees who develop flu-like symptoms are to remain at home and not enter a customer location without the appropriate period of isolation. LiDCO employees are required to comply with all local, regional and federal government restrictions applicable to their work territory.
Currently, we are providing training and product support using online technologies which facilitate remote virtual meetings. This allows our sales and clinical field specialists to deliver tailor made in-servicing sessions remotely, to help healthcare professionals set-up, troubleshoot or learn more about their LiDCO systems. We continue to send out informational blogs and provide relevant webinar content through our online platform. This information can be found on the education section of our LiDCO website where you can also connect with a clinical specialist to arrange a remote in-servicing session.
